The QA Engineerwill focus on testing the backend server processes of CeBA's CRM software on UNIX and NT servers utilizing multiple database servers. This position will also require the individual to be able to establish testing metrics and assist in leading individual
product or release testing efforts for a team of QA engineers.

PRIMARY ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, modify, and enhance existing test plans, test procedures, and automation scripts.
• Execute manual and automated test procedures, measure results, enter defects as appropriate, and verify fixes.
• Setup ad maintain system regression test environments.
• Develop new test plans and procedures on any new products.
• Perform initial and follow-up automation assessments on any areas of responsibility.
• Work closely with the QA team and engineering personnel to identify and resolve software defects.

• 3-5 years testing experience of mission critical applications.
• BS in computer science or equivalent with 5-10 years experience in development or QA functions with 3-5 years experience in testing.
• Working knowledge of NT Server Win2K operation systems and at least one of the following UNIX platforms: HPUX, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX.
• Ability to read and generate SQL code and a working knowledge of at one of the following relational databases: Oracle, Microsoft MSSQL, Sybase, UDB.
• Ability to perform automated and manual functional and regression tests on backend server processes.
• Experience in white box testing.
• Strong people skills to be able to effectively lead testing efforts and to work effectively with developers, product managers, and support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical abilities.
